Buenos días a todos, especialmente a padres y madres, que son los principales destinatarios de estas publicaciones.

Espero que se encuentren bien de salud y que lleven esta situación lo mejor posible. Los profesores somos conscientes del esfuerzo extra que supone la educación online para todos: padres, alumnos y profesores (que también son padres a su vez en muchos casos). Por eso, haremos lo posible para que esta parte final del curso sea lo más liviana posible.

Por el momento, a falta de instrucciones más precisas por parte de la consejería de educación, empezaremos este último trimestre repasando los contenidos de los trimestres anteriores. Para tal fin, he creado unos cuadernos digitales en la página web: https://www.liveworksheets.com/.

En dichos cuadernos interactivos, los alumnos realizarán unas fichas de trabajo cada día de clase que serán autoevaluables (podrán ver su resultado al momento, así como las respuestas correctas, una vez que hayan pulsado el botón de finalizar o FINISH). De esta manera, el trabajo del día a día será más ágil y los alumnos podrán avanzar con mayor comodidad. De cara a la nota final, este trabajo diario se tendrá en cuenta positivamente; por lo que es importante que todos los alumnos hagan siempre sus fichas. Yo veré los resultados de cada alumno en mi versión docente de la web.

Una vez estén claras las directrices a seguir por parte de la consejería, se valorará la posibilidad de evaluar otro tipo de actividades como, por ejemplo, proyectos de clase o cualquier otro tipo de prueba que se considere adecuada. Así mismo, en caso de poder avanzar con contenidos nuevos, realizaré una serie de vídeos explicativos que publicaré en Classroom como material de clase.

Como siempre, estaré disponible en Google Classroom para cualquier duda que los alumnos puedan tener (mediante mensaje privado); de igual manera, los lunes estaré disponible en Google Meet para atender por videoconferencia a todo aquel que lo necesite: alumno, padre o madre.

  • TUESDAY 31st March:
  • La tarea propuesta para el día de hoy es la siguiente:
  • Se les envía a los alumnos un video sobre el autor WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. En el video se practica tanto la destreza de listening, como el vocabulario y la comprensión lectora. Una vez han visto el video deben realizar una serie de tareas. Se propone crear un hilo en Google Classroom en el que van a expresar sus opiniones sobre el video y sobre la literatura en general. (En el tema 5 del libro de texto se comienza a hablar de autores como CHARLES DICKENS). Deben indicar qué les ha parecido el video, si les gusta leer y qué autores de habla inglesa conocen.

  • WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY 1st, 2nd and 3rd April:
  • Se plantea una Webquest para los alumnos que se trabajará en los próximos días. La tarea consiste en ir al Student´s Book, Unit 6, page 77. Se les envía un video relacionado con Localizaciones de películas icónicas. Usando el ejemplo deben elegir una de sus películas favoritas y describir la localización, por ejemplo… Solo en casa en Nueva York, y contestar a una serie de preguntas.

Students are going to start working ‘relative clauses’. For this purpose, they will find in Google Classroom three different links explaining the issue in a funny way, as well as a worksheet with the whole explanation. For today students do not have to do any activity, they have to watch the videos and revise the explanation attached. Further explanations will be done after Easter break. As I have been doing, I will be available de whole morning and part of the afternoon to answer any question students might have.

Students are going to start working ‘present and past simple passive’. For this purpose, they will find in Google Classroom two different links, one explaining the topic in Spanish and  another explaining the topic in English. In addition, they will also find a worksheet attached to the task in which they have a little explanation of the issue. For today students do not have to do any exercise, they just have to revise all the material that have been provided. Further explanations will be made after Easter break. I will be available during the students’ lesson time in case they have any question.

For today students only have to finish some of the exercises in the worksheet they started working yesterday. Today we are going to work page 72. Today you have to do a Reading activity. First, you have to read the text and look for the words you do not know in the dictionary. Then you have to do exercises 2 and 3. You have to do them in your notebooks, once you have them done, take a picture of them and attach it to class work. Don’t forget to hand the task in.

I will be available in case you have any doubt or question at our lesson time and the whole morning.

Today we are going to have a video conference so as to know how things are going. Then we will deal with vocabulary in unit 6. You have to work page 68 of your workbooks. Try to look for the meaning of those words or expressions you do not know. We will do this during our conference, but for those who cannot enter feel free to ask any question you might have as I will be available the whole morning and part of the afternoon.

Good morning to every parent and student reading this entry!

Here you have the tasks for today lessons.

1º Grado Superior Comercio Internacional

Students are going to continue with unit 7. Today they have to work with page 81 vocabulary about Money and Finance. Students have to do all the exercises included in this page and hand them in as we have been doing. They will find the listening track they need in Google Classroom, as well as further instructions to perform the task for today.

I will be available during the two hours of our lessons for any question or doubt students might have.

 

1º Grado Medio Peluquería y Cosmética Capilar

¡Buenos días!

Estamos ya en la recta final de la evaluación. Para ello, reforzaremos los contenidos vistos en la misma.

Martes 31: en Google Classroom os he subido un archivo con ejercicios para consolidar. Tienen como fecha de entrega el  jueves 2 de abril  y las soluciones se os entregarán una vez haya finalizado ese periodo para entregar la tarea.  Encontraréis ejercicios de conditionals, verbs with -ing and to ,questions forms, reported questions, requests and commands. (Recordad que todas las tareas serán tenidas en cuenta para esta evaluación y debéis seguir trabajando).

Miércoles 1: echad un vistazo al vídeo cuyo enlace estará colgado como tarea en Classroom. Teniendo en cuenta la situación que estamos viviendo actualmente, en la videoconferencia del miércoles a las 10:20 veremos el origen del Coronavirus y sus consecuencias. Tomad nota para poder realizar la tarea que os subiré después de la clase. Tendréis que responder a unas preguntas con fecha de entrega para el viernes 3 de abril.

Jueves 2: tendréis que entregar tareas del martes. Os enviaré soluciones de las mismas. Trabajaréis las preguntas sobre el vídeo y lo que comentemos en la videoconferencia para entregarlas el viernes.

Viernes 3: entrega de la tarea del miércoles. Nos conectaremos por videoconferencia para despedirnos antes de las vacaciones y daros recomendaciones y pautas durante las mismas.

Como hemos comentado en la videoconferencia, mañana martes 31 de marzo tenéis el examen de las unidades 5 y 6 de 11:45 a 12:40. Constará de lo siguiente:

  • Listening
  • Reading comprehension
  • Vocabulary: unit 5 (materials and their properties, technical specifications); unit 6 (safety features).
  • Grammar: making comparisons
  • Writing: translation

Buenos días.

Esta semana previa a las “vacaciones” va a ser más relajada. Para seguir trabajando con el inglés, pero de forma más amena, haremos sesión de listening con vídeo y un ejercicio de writing asociado. Cada día de clase, se publicará un vídeo distinto de “Amigos Ingleses” referido a cuestiones de vocabulario o gramática que puedan resultar confusos. Los alumnos tendrán que visualizar dicho vídeo y, a continuación, escribir en el cuaderno lo que han entendido; además, acompañarán esa explicación de las frases mostradas en el vídeo como ejemplo. Las instrucciones se les darán, como siempre, en Google Classroom. Esta actividad será la misma para todos mis grupos de la ESO y Bachillerato: 2ºAX, 4ºAX y 1ºBachillerato B.
